Four years ago, when Rudy Giuliani spoke at the Republican Convention, it was a static series of one boring anecdote after another. Radio talk show host Michael Savage called it a “New York deli shtick,” or something like that.
Ghouliani was to be the keynote speaker tonight, but now that Hurricane Gustav has turned out to be a tremendous disappointment for the Statists who so desperately wanted to show us how much they care about our fellow citizens, the Republican Convention is back to normal. Some of last night’s speakers, however, are being moved to tonight, and that means that Ghouliani is getting bumped.
